Caribbean carnivals capacity building 2005/6

Over £50,000 awarded, to the East Midlands Caribbean Carnivals for Artistic Residencies, Workshops and Performances, an initiative lead by Mainstream by advocating and negotiating on their behalf to Three Cities Fund.

Carnivals Training/Capacity Development 2005, took part in consultations with Utkarsha Joshi ACE Cultural Diversity Officer and Carnivals Consultant Verena Cornwall re capacity building, fundraising and governance issues for region’s carnivals. The ACE appointed Consultant has drawn up Training programme to be funded by ACE, delivered by the Consultant, part of which Mainstream is recommended to deliver .
