Supporting Members Professional Development: Cynthia Mapara.

My name is Cynthia Mapara I have been working and volunteering in the arts for over 2 years now and during this period I have become a fully qualified assessor of all the course levels run by the Art Award, Trinity College, London.

I was able to achieve this with the help of Mainstream Partnership who were able to support me in applying for a bursary to pay for my Gold Adviser training. Being a qualified assessor means I can help young people between the age of 7-25 years old in achieving a recognized qualification equivalent to Entry level up to A level in arts. The course is learner friendly because the young person chooses the field of art they would like to learn at their own pace in an academic year.
