Ghanaian craftsman, Paa Joe, will be artist in residence at Clumber Park throughout May 2013. Each coffin is commissioned by loved ones and meticulously carved by Paa Joe to reflect the life of the person for whom it is made. Don't miss your opportunity to meet Paa Joe, the Grandfather of the Fantasy Coffin craft, as he builds his trademark lion coffin.
Celebrate the completion of Paa Joe's residency with a live performance influenced by African funeral rituals including dance, theatre and music from Sabar Soundsystem and watch on as the lion coffin is transported into the land of the afterlife.
