Benefits of becoming a practitioner:group/organisation member of Mainstream Partnership include; being sent bespoke information on a regular week by week basis about the culturally diverse and the mainstream arts sector, as well as funding information, training, events and other opportunities.

Being an member organisation member of Mainstream Partnership enables you to access unique opportunities to network with culturally diverse artists from across the region who are engaged in music, dance, drama, poetry, visual arts/media, textiles and literature. combined arts – festivals, carnivals and melas and other forms of artistic expression. We therefore urge you to take this opportunity to join a dynamic regional organisation dedicated to promoting excellence in culturally diverse arts/culture.

As a member you will also gain access to Mainstream Partnership Project Officer and Staff who can provide you with professional development advice and guidance, and access to information and support in applying for funding and grants. We are also able to signpost you to other organisations which may be specifically relevant to your needs, offer places on mentoring programme, guidance about training opportunities and future places on Mainstream Partnership’s program of training courses.

In previous years, courses included business planning, legal matters, working education, events management, confidence building, fund raising and networking. Additionally, through these courses and workshops, more arts practitioners from Culturally Diverse origins have been trained to become trainers within their fields.

For member organisations there are unique and exclusive opportunities to network with the culturally diverse arts sector, recruit staff, board members, training/consultancy (culturally diverse arts) develop artistic partnerships. Assistance in developing  and implementing equality plans and policies.
